Case studies

Every home – and every person – is different. That’s why I tailor my approach to each client’s goals.

Here are a few real-life examples of how I’ve helped people transform their spaces to make daily life simpler, calmer, and more efficient.

The playroom

Goal

Emma asked me to organise her boys’ playroom. She found tidying up a challenge because her current storage wasn’t working to its full potential. Toys were being stored in different rooms of the house, which meant the children didn’t have easy access to their things, and keeping everything in its place was tricky. Emma also wanted to involve the children in keeping their space tidy by creating simple storage solutions that were easy to maintain.

Solution

I worked with Emma and the boys to edit the contents of the playroom; we created more space by recycling and donating toys the children no longer used. We created clear ‘zones’  for all their different activities – from games and puzzles to books. Everything was organised into storage solutions with labelled boxes, baskets and shelving so the boys could easily access their toys. The playroom is now an organised and fun space to be in, the children can easily find their toys and get involved with tidying up at the end of the day.

The pantry

Goal

Todd and Sophie approached me to help organise their pantry. With two demanding jobs and a busy family life, they hadn’t found time to optimise the space and make it work efficiently for them. Their pantry had become cluttered over time. Items were hidden at the back, duplicates were being bought, and they didn’t know what they had in stock.

Solution

We emptied the pantry completely and reviewed all the items, removed anything out of date and organised the contents into groups. I put everything into practical storage solutions; airtight containers for dry goods, baskets for snacks, and labelled everything for easy visibility. Everyday essentials were placed within easy reach, and less-used items were stored higher up. Todd and Sophie now have a neat, functional space where everything is accessible and supports the whole family’s daily routine.

Organising a kitchen

The kitchen

Goal

Having recently moved house, Gen and Ally hadn’t had the time to properly unpack their kitchen. They wanted help finding a home for everything; organising their space intuitively for their day-to-day life. Their kitchen was the heart of the home, and they wanted it to be an enjoyable place to spend time in.

Solution

I began working closely with Gen and Ally to understand how they used their kitchen. Together, we identified the items they used daily, those used occasionally, and those that could be stored elsewhere. I suggested a practical layout that made the best use of their new space by identifying clear zones for food storage, baking and cooking equipment, serving ware, and cleaning materials. I introduced storage solutions to make everything accessible and easy to maintain. Gen and Ally now have a kitchen that not only looks beautiful but also works seamlessly for their lifestyle. Mealtimes are easier, and they’ve been able to settle into their new home more quickly.
